Cape Town is one of the best cities in the world to shoot fashion, and R2F uses all of it: old stairways and weathered walls in the city, white dunes, granite boulders on the Atlantic coast and hard winter light that makes black and white sing.

Shoots are directed. Models consistently say the same thing about working with R2F: clear posing guidance, a relaxed set and fast delivery, with edited images often back the next day. That makes R2F a good fit for model portfolios and test shoots as well as brand lookbooks and editorials.

Because R2F also shoots film, a fashion session can produce a short fashion film or social cut from the same day, so a campaign gets stills and motion without a second crew.

Fashion & editorial: questions

Do you shoot model portfolios?

Yes. Portfolio and test shoots are booked at the hourly rate, from R2,800 including editing and retouching, with direction throughout.

Can you help with styling, hair and make-up?

R2F works with Cape Town make-up artists and stylists and can bring them onto your shoot. Their fees are quoted separately.

Do you shoot in studio or on location?

Both. Most R2F fashion work is shot on location around Cape Town, with portable studio lighting when a look needs it.
