Who we are

R2F Photography is a photography and film studio in Cape Town, South Africa. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), R2F Photography is the responsible party, and its owner is the information officer. Contact: aleem@r2fphotography.com or +27 74 380 0786.

What we collect, and why

When you send the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and the details you share about your shoot (service, date, location, budget and message). We use this only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, to plan and deliver your shoot.

The form emails your enquiry to R2F. It is not stored in a database on this website. Basic server logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) are kept by our hosting provider for security and are deleted on their normal schedule.

Cookies and third parties

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Films are hosted on YouTube and only load, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, when you press play. Links to Instagram, YouTube, Behance and IMDb take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Photographs of you

Images from your shoot are delivered in a private online gallery. They appear in the portfolio, on this website or on social media only with your permission. Boudoir images are never published without your written consent.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Client records and images are kept for as long as needed to deliver your gallery and meet tax and legal obligations.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email aleem@r2fphotography.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
