Booking photography and film from one team means one plan, one timeline and no competing for the same angles on the day. R2F shoots both: photography packages start at R10,000, film packages at R14,000, and combined packages are quoted on request.

Why most couples end up with two separate crews

Photographers and videographers are usually booked separately, often months apart. On the day they meet for the first time, plan their shots independently and sometimes stand in each other’s frame at the moments that matter most.

What changes when one team shoots both

  • One shot list and one timeline, planned together at the pre-wedding consultation.
  • Fewer people around you during the ceremony and portraits.
  • A consistent look: the photos and the film are graded to match.
  • One point of contact before, during and after the wedding.

Highlight video or mini film?

A highlight video is a short, music-led edit of the day. R2F highlight videos run 5–10 minutes (Essentials) or 10–20 minutes (A Little Extra).

A mini film is the longer story: 40 minutes to an hour with vows, speeches and the moments in between. It is part of the All the Memories film package, together with a 5–10 minute highlight video, an additional camera set-up and drone footage where the venue allows it.

What it costs

Wedding photography at R2F costs R10,000, R18,000 or R36,000 depending on hours and extras. Wedding film costs R14,000, R25,000 or R55,500. Drone video can be added at R3,500 an hour. If you are booking both, ask for a combined quote.

See the difference

Several R2F weddings have both a photo story and a film, for example A Union in the Vineyards and Romance in the Desert. Watch the films and then look at the stills from the same day.
